If you don’t know what it is, it’s simply rice noodles in a delicious soup broth, with some fresh herbs and is often served with beef or chicken. So simple but so so yummy and filled with so much flavour! We are salivating at the thought of it.

Rice fields for days

Nope that photo isn’t photoshopped this is legitimately how a hill station called Sapa in the Northwest of Vietnam looks. With dramatic rice terraces surrounded by mountain peaks, it really is a photographers heaven!

Island hopping in paradise

While majority of people think Thailand is home to beautiful beaches. Vietnam is the unsung hero of Asia with sandy white beaches, crystal blue water against a dramatic backdrop of mountains. Halong Bay

According to Vietnam legend, the Mother of Dragons formed Halong Bay. It is said that she blew fire emeralds to defend her land from the enemy. Those emeralds then formed all these 1,600 beautiful islands we see today. It’s seriously a beautiful dramatic landscape of mountains, sea and sky and well worth the visit to admire.

Mekong Delta

Otherwise known as the River of the Nine Dragons in Vietnam. It passes through temple cities, lush tropical rainforests, swamps, rice fields and is the lifeline to six countries in Southeast Asia. It’s the ideal spot to really connect with the culture of Vietnam, shop at the floating markets and enjoy some local cuisine.

Hoi An

It’s that town that has somehow managed to keep it’s old world charm. While it maybe bustling with tourist the architecture has remained true to it’s soul. The town is packed with picturesque historical homes, temples and cute street-side cafes. You can get everything you need here including a suit or two and the beach is only a short bike ride of town and it is also the culinary home of Vietnam!
